What is Christianity?

If you ask people to describe Christianity some would say the Pope, or the Archbishop of Canterbury, or the Church of England, to name but a few possible answers. But it is none of these things. To know what Christianity is simply look at the first six letters of the word.

The word Christian was first coined in Antioch to describe the followers of Christ. So we must look to Jesus Christ to get our definition.

Christianity isn't a religion or a sect or a denomination. Those things have arisen because Man wants God his way. True Christianity is a right relationship with God. Out of this everything else flows.

So if you want to know what Christianity is, don't look at religion or men who have a position in the church, look to Jesus Christ and He will open your eyes to the truth.
